Introduction: Writing sentence in English is not an easy task  for my 6th class children, Because they are coming from different background and their mother tongue is also different.They are learning English as a second language.As their medium of instruction is Kannada,they hardly get expose to English in a period of 40 minutes a day. Which is not sufficient to acquire the second language. It is the toughest challenge to an English teacher to get an expected learning outcome in an academic year. Teaching English as ESL/EFL to non-native speakers is a challenging task for any ESL/EFL teacher. The reason is simple, as learners couldn't get a lot of exposure to the target language, the acquisition of the same becomes a mammoth task.Language learners need a lot of exposure to the target language as much as possible both inside and outside the classroom. My identity as a writing teacher

Writing is my hobby. I'm not a regular writer but some special occasions capture my attention.They light up writer in me.I used to pendown my feeings in the form of poem or like a diary.I'm good at essay writing.I have participated in intermediate B.ed college essay competition and I secured the certificate.I have written few poems in my mother tongue.I'm proud to say that one of my poems is going to get published.   I didn't write anything in English unless someone gives me as a homework.During  in-service trainings I have written paragraph,speech,poems,skit,dialogue, letter etc. Students usually answer questions, write letters, paragraphs and essay. Most of the experiences are based on the textbook. I follow learner-centric activities to develop writing skills. I provide maximum opportunity for them to write. My teaching Experience during pandemic.

The covid -19 has resulted,schools were closed all over the lndia.As per the government instructions we started the Vidyagama on August 20th. It was a continuous learning plan devised by Karnataka Government is one in which teachers teach students in their community and other open areas.  we have categorised the students under 3 groups. 1.Genius learning room - No phone  2.Brilliant learning room - keypad phone 3.Intelligent learning room - smart phone.  Students of our school used to come from 26 residential areas. With only five teaching staff managing all those 26 localities was a challenging task for us. when there was no buses and auto to reach those areas,we struggled a lot.So we decided and allotted 5 to 6 areas to each teacher. Daily I used to go as per the time table to the residential areas to teach my students.I have taken safety measures to prevent covid-19.
